Devastation & Destruction In Japan

And all of the sudden, Charlie Sheen's antics & what Justin Bieber is doing with his hair doesn't seem all that important anymore.

As you are probably aware by now, a massive earthquake (measured at 8.9 on the Richter scale - the biggest earthquake to hit Japan in over 100 years) and subsequent tsunami caused mass destruction & devastation in Japan on Friday. The death toll across the country is thought to be upwards of 10,000 with thousands more seriously injured and missing.

If you're looking for a way to help, the best way is financially with a donation to your local chapter of the Red Cross including:

- The Canadian Red Cross
- The American Red Cross
- And The British Red Cross

If none of these three options apply to you, then you can go to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) website to reach the Red Cross in your area.

Also, if you are trying to contact/locate family or friends in areas of Japan affected by the earthquake/tsunami, there is info on the ICRC website as to how to go about doing that.

Thoughts & prayers are with victims and their families...and I hope you'll take time to donate to the cause.
