Gwen Stefani Donates To Japan

You can add Gwen Stefani to the long list of celebrities who've stepped up to help the people of Japan, as they attempt to recover from the earthquake & tsnuami that devastated their country 2 weeks ago.

Stefani donated $1 Million to earthquake/tsnuami relief...and it makes perfect sense as Gwen is absolutely in love with Japan. She cites the Harajuku district as a huge influence on her recent work (including her album "Love. Angel. Music. Baby". As Gwen explains on her website:

"I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture. The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years."

Stefani is also planning a charity auction in Los Angeles and will be releasing a limited edition Harajuku-Lovers T-shirt with 100% of the proceeds of sales of the shirt going to Japanese relief.

Lindsay Is Going To Trial

That is the smile of a confident woman.

As you might recall, Lindsay Lohan has been charged with Grand Larceny after she allegedly walked out of a Los Angeles jewelry store WITHOUT paying for a necklace.

It's a risky move, but Lindsay must be sure she's going to get off scott-free...otherwise, why would she have turned down a plea bargain? The deal that was being offered would have resulted in her spending approximately 19 days in prison (the sentence likely would have been 3 months, but with overcrowding, it would have been reduced).

Now, Lohan is risking being found guilty and being sentenced to ONE YEAR in prison - plus if she's found guilty, she'll also be in violation of her current probation which will result in EXTRA jail time on top of THAT sentence.

I'll keep you posted with updates as they come!

Meet Rebecca Black

Meet Rebecca Black.

She's the latest viral video sensation...for all the wrong reasons.

Rebecca's video "Friday" has blown up all over YouTube (to the tune of 9 million views as of today) and is being hailed as - and I quote: "The worst song in the history of music."

Even worse than Kim Kardashian's song "Jam"?

"Yes"

Here's the video...check it out for yourself - but be warned: the song WILL be stuck in your head forever:

Now, you might be asking yourself, "who are the evil SOB's who unleashed this piece of pure evil on the world?" Well, it's courtesy of Ark Music Factory, who's sole purpose in life is - apparently - to make rockstar dreams come true for kids whose parents have way too much money.

Basically, you can pay Ark Music Factory a ton of cash and they'll fly your little princess out to their studios, let them record a song, auto-tune the living s**t out of it, produce a video and then release it to the world. And then maybe - just maybe - your little snowflake's song will get picked up by a major record label and she'll be a star.

Or the producers at Tosh.0 will get their hands on it, mock her relentlessly and she'll become the laughingstock of millions of people around the world.

I guess when you look at it, it's STILL fame...right?

Devastation & Destruction In Japan

And all of the sudden, Charlie Sheen's antics & what Justin Bieber is doing with his hair doesn't seem all that important anymore.

As you are probably aware by now, a massive earthquake (measured at 8.9 on the Richter scale - the biggest earthquake to hit Japan in over 100 years) and subsequent tsunami caused mass destruction & devastation in Japan on Friday. The death toll across the country is thought to be upwards of 10,000 with thousands more seriously injured and missing.

If you're looking for a way to help, the best way is financially with a donation to your local chapter of the Red Cross including:

- The Canadian Red Cross
- The American Red Cross
- And The British Red Cross

If none of these three options apply to you, then you can go to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) website to reach the Red Cross in your area.

Also, if you are trying to contact/locate family or friends in areas of Japan affected by the earthquake/tsunami, there is info on the ICRC website as to how to go about doing that.

Thoughts & prayers are with victims and their families...and I hope you'll take time to donate to the cause.

"Bieber Fever" Becomes "Bieber-MANIA!"

Justin Bieber was LITERALLY trapped inside his hotel room yesterday in Liverpool, England as hundreds of fans showed up to try to catch a glimpse of the teen pop sensation.

Bieber was actually warned by Liverpool Police that he could be charged with "inciting a riot" if he were to step outside to greet the fans. He managed to negotiate with police to make an appearance on the balcony so that fans could catch a glimpse of their idol.

Bieber was in Liverpool to perform at the Liverpool Echo Arena this weekend and had intended on spending his day off taking an historic Beatles tour through the city. Those plans were nixed by police though, who feared that if Bieber were to hit the city, it could cause mass pandemonium.

The scenes in Liverpool were reminiscent of the same pandemonium caused by The Beatles in their hometown back in the late 1960's:

Miley Has Had It With The Paparazzi

Seems that Miley Cyrus is the latest celeb to be fed up with the paparazzi.

Yesterday after hitting the gym, Miley walked out to her car to discover a photographer - who she decided to lunge at and make an attempt to separate him from his camera (as pictured above).

On Tuesday a photographer bumped into her mother, Tish, as they were on their way out of a California Chicken Grill restaurant. That encounter was caught on video:

Britney Is Out...

Britney Spears has a new CD coming out entitled "Femme Fatale" which includes the hits "Hold It Against Me" and the latest single "Till The World Ends".

In preparation of the release, Britney did a photo shoot with Out Magazine and some are describing it as her "most intimate photo shoot yet" - mostly due to the revealing of a couple of tattoos that not too many people have seen before: a star and a crucifix on each side of her "most inimate area".

In the magazine, Britney calls her new CD her "most upbeat & mature album yet". She also says that she's proud of all the music she's released.

When she was asked if she regrets recording any of her tracks, she responded, "No...all my songs are f***ing amazing".

To read more about Britney's thoughts on reincarnation, her former Mickey Mouse Club co-stars & more, head over to The Daily Mail's website.

Lady Gaga Wasn't Exactly "Born This Way"...

In spite of what she says, Lady Gaga wasn't exactly "Born This Way". It took - in her own words - "an artistic journey to f**k myself up".

Gaga opened up to author Neil Strauss for his new book entitled "Everyone Loves You When You're Dead", a collection of snippets of celebrity interviews and told him about the tough times she went through on the road to superstardom.

"I didn't have a bad childhood. All of the things I went through were on my own quest for an artistic journey to f**k myself up like Warhol and Bowie and Mick, and just go for it," she told Strauss.

"Sometimes it freaks me out -- or I should say it petrifies me -- when I think about laying in my apartment (in New York) with bed bugs and roaches on the floor and mirrors with cocaine everywhere, and no will or interest in doing anything but making music and getting high," she admitted.

If you want to read more about Gaga's surreal journey to the top & checkered past, check out the article over at The Huffington Post.

BREAKING (but NOT surprising) NEWS!!!

I keep expecting Porky Pig to bust out of that Warner Bros. logo and yell, "Th-th-th-that's all folks!!!"

It's official now: Charlie Sheen has been FIRED from "Two and a Half Men"!

Earlier this afternoon, Warner Bros. sent a letter to Sheen's lawyer outlining the following:

"There is ample evidence supporting Warner Bros. reasonable good faith opinion that Mr. Sheen has committed felony offenses involving moral turpitude (including but not limited to furnishing of cocaine to others as part of the self-destructive lifestyle he has described publicly) that have 'interfere[d] with his ability to fully and completely render all material services required' under the agreement."

If you like, you can check out the entire 21 page document sent to Sheen's lawyer by the folks at Warner Bros. (thanks to the folks at TMZ)

You can't keep a good man down though...Charlie immediately fired off the following tweet from his Twitter account:

“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”

Wow.

One other thing...if you've ever wanted to know what it's like to intern for Charlie Sheen, here's your chance!

From the website:

Do you have #TigerBlood? Are you all about #Winning? Can you #PlanBetter than anyone else? If so, we want you on #TeamSheen as our social media #TigerBloodIntern!

This unique internship opportunity will allow a hard-working, self-motivated, creative, resourceful and social media savvy individual to work closely with Charlie Sheen in leveraging his social network. The internship will focus on executing a social media strategy that will build on the success Charlie Sheen has attained in setting the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to reach one million followers on Twitter. The #TigerBloodIntern is expected to be proactive, monitor the day-to-day activities on the major social media platforms, prepare for exciting online projects and increase Charlie’s base of followers.

You will learn how to promote and develop the social media network of Hollywood’s most trending celebrity.

It could end up being the most interesting 8 weeks of your life...ha ha!

Just When You Thought It Couldn't Get Worse...

Yesterday morning, Ryan Seacrest got a call from Kim Kardashian and debuted her new single entitled, "Jam" during his morning show on 102.7 KIIS-FM in Los Angeles.

And it's pretty much exactly what you'd expect of a Kim Kardashian single: pure, complete, unadulterated crap.

Justin Bieber's "Bird"

Looks like Justin Bieber has had it with the paparazzi.

Bieber was out on the town, celebrating his 17th birthday with alleged-girlfriend Selena Gomez when the pop-prince had apparently had enough of the photogs and decided to tell them how he felt about them.

Whoops...
