We Are The World 2010 producers announced in a written news release that the song, officially titled “We Are the World-25 for Haiti,” will debut on NBC the first night of the Vancouver Winter Olympics on February 12. There was was no word from NBC executives yet confirming the decision.
The song "We Are The World" was originally co-written and produced by Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones in 1985, and was organized to raise funds for famine victims in Africa.
